Just Runners is a Community Investment Company (CIC) that believes great Film & TV talent can be nurtured from those with little to no experience in the industry who have the right attitude and gumption. We champion diversity and inclusivity and believe all film sets should advocate this model. As an industry initiative, we are pro diversity. Gender, race, class, religion and disability do not hinder talent – lack of opportunity does.

 JR welcomes applicants with limited or no experience as runners and was designed to provide entry-level opportunities in the industry for individuals who may not have industry contacts to support their career advancement. Our JRs can come from underrepresented and/or specific social demographic backgrounds, so this gives them the possibility of forging a career without connections. Some runners have either hidden or visible disabilities as well.

It’s a simple system: contact us with a project and we will supply you with a dedicated runner. The film and TV industry are looking for every production to employ inclusively and Just Runners is a great way to help you do that.

We recruit our runners from various sources, including film and media courses which are set up by Government and Lottery funding. We welcome applicants with limited or no experience as runners.
